1990 Gone to Alaska

During the 1990s, I traveled extensively throughout the country, piloting my mother's RV. Her dream was to visit all the national parks, and we did hit most of them, visiting every state, including Alaska, as well as touring the Canadian Maritime provinces, western Canada, and Mexico's Baja peninsula. Throughout, I juggled freelance assignments and editorial duties, even during those pre-cell phone, dial-up internet days.
